Chris Antonopoulos is the Managing Partner of UHY Axon Group and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), as well as a member of ACCA, specializing in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He has significant experience in large-scale audit and consulting projects for international groups and banks, including valuations, due diligence, IFRS implementation projects, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and internal control system preparation. He worked for 13 years at a Big Four firm, with half of that time in the New York office, leading assurance and accounting advisory projects across Europe, the US, Asia, and Canada, and serving as a consultant for the largest IPO in Asia in 2019. His key sectors include Banking, Industrial, Oil and Gas, Gold Mining, Telecommunications, Technology (start-ups), and Holding Companies. He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and holds a Master Degree in International Accountancy and Consultancy from the University of Reading with distinction, having completed the Greek CPA curriculum with the highest grade nationwide.
